Agreement to terms
By booking a class or using the Made With Love Kids Cooking website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Eligibility
Classes are open to children ages 6–18. All bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. By booking, you confirm that you have the authority to enroll the child and agree to these terms on their behalf.
Booking & payment
Class spots are reserved only upon receipt of full payment. Classes are priced at $75 per child per session. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Prices are subject to change; any changes will be reflected on the website before booking.
Cancellation & refund policy
Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of class will receive a credit toward a future session. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits. If we cancel a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
Health & safety
You agree to disclose all known food allergies and dietary restrictions at the time of booking. Children who are ill or showing symptoms of illness on the day of class must stay home. A full session credit will be issued in this case. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any student whose presence poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
Conduct
We expect all students to follow instructor directions and treat fellow students and staff with respect. Students who are disruptive or unsafe may be removed from class without refund. Parents are responsible for their child's behavior during drop-off and pick-up.
Photography & media
We may take photos or videos during class for use on our website and social media. If you do not wish your child to appear in any photos, please notify us in writing before class. We will make every effort to honor your request.
Limitation of liability
Made With Love Kids Cooking takes all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe cooking environment. However, cooking involves inherent risks including heat, sharp tools, and food allergens. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Made With Love Kids Cooking is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our classes, except in cases of gross negligence.
Release of liability & assumption of risk
By completing a booking, the parent or legal guardian ('Participant') acknowledges and agrees to the following: (1) Assumption of Risk — Participant understands that cooking classes involve inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts from knives, burns from heat sources, allergic reactions, and slips or falls in a kitchen environment. Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks on behalf of the enrolled child. (2) Release of Claims — Participant, on behalf of themselves, the enrolled child, and their heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby releases, waives, and discharges Made With Love Kids Cooking, its instructors, staff, volunteers, and venue partners from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in any class or activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. (3) Indemnification — Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Made With Love Kids Cooking from any claims brought by or on behalf of the enrolled child arising from participation in classes. (4) Medical Authorization — In the event of an emergency, Participant authorizes Made With Love Kids Cooking staff to seek appropriate medical attention for the enrolled child. Participant accepts financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred. (5) Acknowledgment — Participant confirms they have read and understood this release, that it is binding upon them and the enrolled child, and that they are signing it freely and voluntarily.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
